Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul in Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She is an actress from Afghanistan who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her home country the family relocated towards in the US. She was granted asylum, and were allowed to remain. Ghanizada was raised to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family with two older sisters. Ghanizada made her debut on television by appearing in several National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada portrayed the main character of Chiara an appearance for which she received a film festival best actress nomination. Her TV guest-starring performances are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych as well as Castle. Most recently, she played the role of a support actress in the science-fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the independent comedies You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her acting career in 2008 when she was cast member of General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a physician who is a specialist in holistic healing. Ghanizada was cast in the role of Kelly the Prada salesgirl on HBO Entourage. In 2009, she was a part of The Tough Trade pilot from Weeds creator Jenji Cohan and executive-producer T Bone Burnett.
